What you will do as a Harvest Forklift Operator:
n
- n
- Complete safe and proper operation of a forklift by successfully passing all written and operational testing for forklift certification and observing all forklift safety rules
- n
- Read and decipher pack plan and row assignments
- n
- Tally and report the number of pallets being stored in and out of the freezer to the cold storage supervisor on a daily basis
- n
- Load pallet dispenser, pull pallets off turn table onto rollers, and operate the baler and trash compactor
- n
- Complete the forklift safety checklist
- n

What you need to be a Harvest Forklift Operator:
n
- n
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents such as safety rules, MSDS, operating and procedure manuals
- n
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers
- n
- Must complete forklift training as mandated by OSHA standards &a; guidelines
- n
- Ability to pass both written and operational testing and pass a driving test in the freezer
- n
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds; push and/or pull up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- n
- Ability to sit on forklift continuously, stand and walk occasionally, twist frequently, climb stairs occasionally, stoop and crouch with or without reasonable accommodations
