What you will do as a Process Operator:
n
- n
- Load machines with packaging materials and request materials from plant storage as needed
- n
- Perform weight control checks and adjust machines as necessary
- n
- Ensure proper container sizing
- n
- Know and understand the lockout procedure
- n
- Learn and understand various operating procedures
- n
- Use proper procedures and work in a safe and orderly manner
- n
n
What you need to be a Process Operator:
n
- n
- High school diploma or GED and/or one to three months of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- n
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and maintenance instructions
- n
- Basic math skills with the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- n
- Capable of lifting and/or carrying up to 40 pounds, pushing and/or pulling up to 100 pounds
- n
- Comfortability with exposure to varying conditions, including wet or humid conditions, high heat, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme noise levels
